Oxford City Royal Regatta

Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st August 2011

Parking is available in the Council Car Park and the Sea Scouts' field, both of which are off Meadow Lane, beyond the Riverside Centre. This field is privately owned and a fee of £5 per day, will be charged. Trailers should be parked in the City Boathouse car park, and towing vehicles moved to the Council Car Park or Sea Scouts' field immediately afterwards.

Please don't park on the street as the local residents get very upset and we have had incidents in the past of cars being damaged as a result!

Camping
is available from 6pm Friday to 7pm Sunday in the Sea Scouts' field, about 150m away from the City of Oxford Rowing Club's (CORC'S) boathouse in Meadow Lane.

The field is privately owned and the owners charge £4 per person per night for its use. Parking for campers is £5 for the weekend.

The facilities at the Sea Scouts include 1 shower, 2 w/c's, 1 disabled toilet and urinals. They will only be available during the following hours... Friday 6pm - 9pm, Saturday 7am to 9pm and Sunday 7am to 7pm. At all other times, a port-a-loo is available.

Hot Breakfast will be served at the CORC Boathouse on Saturday and Sunday morning from 7.30am.

Please note that access to the City Boathouse from the camping ground is along Meadow Lane and not along the river front.

There's no need to book for camping.. just show up!!
